The RC22 Foundation Mission:

The mission of the RC22 Foundation is to positively impact the lives of underserved children and communities both locally and globally. The Foundation has established and engaged in various initiatives that expand opportunities for improved outcomes in the areas of youth development and community healthcare. Programs include:

1. Athletic Programs: Thousands of baseball uniforms and cleats are provided by the foundation to high-need youth baseball leagues in Cano's hometown of San Pedro de Macoris in the Dominican Republic.

2. Education: Currently in development with an estimated opening in early 2015, the Robinson Cano Educational DREAM Center will open a Montessori school serving 100 youth ages 3-8, and offer holistic community and employment training programs for residents.

3. Medical Care: Robinson Cano supports youth and adults facing life-threatening illnesses. He has regularly visited children at Hackensack Medical Hospital in New Jersey, where a wing was named in the Foundation's honor. In addition, the foundation has also donated ambulances, medical equipment, and sponsored medical training for medical teams in San Pedro de Macoris.

4. Community Goodwill and Holiday Program: The Foundation hosts its annual Three Kings Day holiday program in San Pedro de Macoris. In 2014, over 34 communities and over 5000 children received toys or took part in a children's holiday event courtesy of the foundation.
